We are still in need of drummers for the Corp. No experience necessary and lessons are free.
Lessons are $30 per month per student. If there are 2 students in the family, then the cost is $56 for 2.
If there are 3 or more, a discount will be given. Please pay for lessons at the first lesson. Batons with tip
covers will be available at first lesson. The cost is $25.
Lessons are held at various locations. On Mondays,
lessons are held in Canton at the YWCA on Walnut and 6th Street NW. On Wednesdays, lessons are held at Tusky Valley
High School after school and also at A Time to Dance in North Canton on Wednesday evenings. Thursday evening class location
has not been determined yet and will be announced at a later date.
The Troop marches in a variety of local parades in Stark, Holmes, Summit and Tuscarawas
Counties. Last summer, the troop also marched at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Drummers are needed. If anyone is interested in learning to play the drums,
they will be taught.
