Carol Koontz Baton & Drum Corps is a marching unit from Stark, Tuscarawas and Wayne Counties and has been in operation for over 40 years.  We are a parade and competition corp and march in about 22 parades a year.  Over the years we have marched in parades in New York City, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, PA, Atlantic City - Miss America Parade, Minneapolis, MN, New Orleans, Disney World, FL, Chicago, and annually we march in Niagara Falls, Canada and in Wheeling, WV.  We march in parades in most of the major cities of Ohio and many small town parades in our area.

Our colors are turquoise, black and silver.  The corps consist of a Color Guard, Senior Twirlers, Junior Twirlers, Mini Twirlers, and a Percussion section.  We have 3 feature twirlers and twice a year we have an Alumni group that marches with us.

The Corps is directed by Carol Koontz.  The ages of the students range from 4 to 19 years.  Studios are in Canton, North Canton,  Tusky Valley High School, and Canal Fulton.  All classes are taught with the supervision of an adult present.  For more information e-mail us at ckoontzmajorettes@yahoo.com.
